Lunar Electric Music Festival at Parramatta Park
Intensive Events Pty Ltd will be hosting Lunar Electric Music Festival on Saturday 4th June 2022 from 12pm to 10pm.
Some of Australia’s biggest artists in dance music will be performing alongside international acts to an expected audience of 10,000 people. The Festival will have local food trucks and mid-strength alcohol available.
Location
Lunar Electric will be held at Parramatta Park’s premier outdoor music venue, The Crescent and the southern corner of the Cattle Paddock. Note the event has been relocated to this area of the Park.
Traffic Changes
Internal roads within Parramatta Park will be pedestrian only on the event day. While there are no external road closures, there may be some changes to traffic conditions on surrounding streets. For public safety NSW Police may implement various short term road closures if deemed necessary. Traffic Management will be in place to assist and minimise disruptions to local traffic.
Road Closures
All internal roads will be closed within Parramatta Park, commencing on the 4th June 2022 from 06:00hrs through to 23:00hrs. Patrons will be encouraged to use public transport or be dropped off and picked up at the carpark off O’Connell Street.
Reducing Noise
Intensive Events Pty Ltd are taking steps to minimise the impact of sound levels in the immediate area by operating under strict guidelines, following a noise management plan, monitoring levels and adjusting as required during the event. The event follows a strict noise management plan and sound is monitored and adjusted throughout the event.

- System Testing - Thursday 2nd June: 4pm – 5pm
- Soundcheck - Friday 3rd June: 5pm – 8pm
- Soundcheck - Saturday 4thJune: 10am – 12pm
- Festival - Saturday 4thJune: 12pm – 10pm
Security
There will be ample security and police presence to ensure the good order of the event. On the event day, you can contact Intensive Events Pty Ltd’s hotline on 0434 298 375 between 12pm – 11pm if you wish to report any noise related concerns. Upon receipt of a complaint, the sound levels in your immediate area will be measured. If the sound level exceeds the Park’s requirement, it will be reduced immediately. You will be notified of the result of the investigations and the course of action undertaken and a record of the complaint will be logged.
