Join a relaxing workshop for beginners where you will learn the fundamentals of botanical illustration. The focus will be on sketching the native flora of Parramatta Park, following in the footsteps of George Caley, a significant colonial botanist who was based at the Government Farm, now Parramatta Park.

Pick up some scientific illustration skills in the place that so inspired him.

This event is part of the Australian Heritage Festival 2018 (18 April - 20 May). 

The theme for this year's International Day for Monuments and Sites is 'Heritage for Generations'. The best way to preserve our heritage is to prepare and educate our young people to protect it.
