How does the Trust manage noise from events?
Parramatta Park Trust has provided event producers with guidelines about reducing noise. Under the guidelines, if soundchecks are required, they must be conducted after 10am.
On event days, amplified music is only permitted between 10am and 11pm. Sound from the event shouldn’t interfere with your normal conversation.
An independent noise consultant will attend each music festival to monitor noise, investigate complaints and direct the event producer to reduce noise if it exceeds the permissible level.
If you feel the noise is too loud, please call the event hotline on 0457 563 791.
Please note: the hotline will start operating the day before the event and be available throughout event day until close. It will not be operational on non-event days and requests for event information should be addressed to the event producers directly. Links are available on our website at crescentsummerseries.com.au.
