Parramatta Park’s Crescent Summer Series returns and expands its Australian and international line-up in 2020

Now in its fourth year, Parramatta Park’s Crescent Summer Series continues to grow and will host its biggest must-see line-up of Australian and international acts – expanding Western Sydney’s most loved arts and entertainment program, from December to April 2020.
The events series is a major boost to Parramatta’s local visitor economy, attracting up to 250,000 people to the City, with an exciting mix of major headliners and five free concerts and festivals for all ages.
US chart topping, pop sensation and breakthrough act of 2019, rapper, singer, songwriter, flautist and full-time empowering superstar, Lizzo will make her highly anticipated Australian performance debut as one of the FOMO Festival 2020 headliners. After selling out her Sydney Opera House sideshow in record time, the only place to see her perform in NSW is in Parramatta Park at FOMO. Joining Lizzo on this star-studded bill are an astonishing multi-genre collection of local and international artists on stage, including certified hitmakers BROCKHAMPTON, Kaytranada, Madeon, Jax Jones, Rico Nasty, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and more.
The world's premier electronic music festival, Ultra Australia also brings a contingent of star-power to Parramatta, with some of the biggest names in electronic music set to headline the colossal 2020 festival. DJ Snake and Zedd, will both make their Ultra Australia debut, alongside veteran legends Afrojack and Eric Prydz.
One of the most anticipated events, Sydney Festival’s Symphony Under The Stars, also returns to Parramatta Park for a night of beautiful music under the southern sky. The free concert will see Sydney Symphony Orchestra and conductor Benjamin Northey perform a program of renowned compositions by Beethoven, Offenbach, John Williams – and for the grand finale, Tchaikovsky’s rousing 1812 Overture. It’s the perfect evening for families and friends to pack a hamper, grab a blanket and enjoy the Sydney summer in style.
Another highlight of this year’s event series is Channel 9 Carols in the Crescent hosted by Guy Sebastian and his wife Jules. This special Christmas concert brings together many of their very talented friends with a free two-hour show featuring carols, laughter and maybe even a visit from Santa Claus. This free family concert aims to raise money to help women and families escape situations of domestic violence.

About Parramatta Park
Parramatta Park is one of the oldest public parks in the world and welcomes more than two million visitors every year. There is evidence of more than 38,000 years of Aboriginal occupation and land use and it was a Vice-Regal domain from 1788. In 1858 it was gazetted a ‘People’s Park’, one of the earliest in the world.

Parramatta Station is a major transport hub for urban and intercity trains and buses. The Crescent is a 10-15-minute walk from Parramatta or Westmead stations.
